Our Nature Walk
We explored our school grounds to look for small creatures and mini-beasts. We found worms, slugs, spiders and beetles. We looked closely at them using magnifying glasses.
Rise of the Robots
We designed and created our own robots. First we researched robots using books and the internet.
Then we created our robot designs and collected the resources we would need to build it.
We worked hard to create and build our robots.
Feed the Birds!
To help the birds in our area feed during the winter we made bird feeders. We mixed a special recipe that they would love using nuts, raisins, lard and cheese! We hung them on the trees for them to eat. It has attracted a lot of new birds into our garden.
Illustrators in the Making!
The illustrator, Liz Million worked with us in school. She showed us how to draw characters to illustrate our own stories. Jack even worked alongside Liz at the front. Liz supported us to draw our own bears and we produced some amazing drawings.
Our Yoga sessions help us to develop our breathing, body control and balance and our posture. It helps us to stretch and flex different muscles in our bodies. Our Yoga sessions are calm and relaxing and help to prepare for the busy day ahead. We even got some of our parents to take part with us. They really enjoyed it too.
