We will be having our usual Easter Egg competition where children will use their creativity to decorate a hard boiled egg. Children will need to bring a hard boiled egg into school on Monday 26 March. It might be handy for them to bring a spare too – they have been known to roll off the table! Parents/carers are welcome to join in the Easter fun too! If you would like to decorate an egg and enter the competition, please send your creations into school by Wednesday 28 March. Prizes will be awarded in achievement assembly on Thursday 29 March.

We were amazed at how much money was raised for school by the sponsored matchbox challenge. A huge £1,149.17 in fact. Well done to everyone who took part. There were some very interesting things in the matchboxes including a peppercorn, a car biscuit, lego and a haribo sweet!

We are proud of our children and staff who raised £162.10 for Children in Need by wearing spots and stripes. Well done everyone.
A huge thank you for all of the generous food donations for our Harvest celebrations. Our local elderly residents were thrilled when our school council delivered the hampers we made. We have also donated to The Peoples Kitchen and Gateshead Food Bank. Our celebration was a huge success. The children did us proud with their super singing and reading.
